Wangedigala is a popular hiking spot in a village called Kalupahana. The word “Wangedigala” refers to the pestle because the top of the peak reflects the shape of the pestle. Hiking through the Wangedigala forest gives hikers spectacular views of the Babarakanda falls and the Ella falls. Hikers have to reach to the peak passing through the pine forest. The hike take 4-5 hours from the Kalupahana. This mountain is a famous place for the camping.
